Scouts are regularly engaged in service in the Natick and surrounding communities. Scouts also learn and practice civil engagement.

Growth Through Adventure

Scouts develop leadership, life, and outdoor skills through adventures, like overnight camping trips, whitewater rafting, and hikes in the mountains of New England. Each Scout is taught and teaches others through the EDGE method: Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, and Enable.

Enduring Values

Since Scouting’s founding by Lord Robert Baden-Powell in 1908, scouts have lived by a core set of values. These values make up the Scout Law, a scout is: trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
